Who we are and what this notice covers
Practical Toilet Training, LLC operates practicaltoilettraining.com. This notice describes information handled through this website, its contact and update forms, adult learner accounts and learning tools. It does not cover purchases or activity on another company’s website.
Our website is designed for adult parents, caregivers, educators and professionals. It is not designed for children to create accounts or submit information directly.
Information you provide
Contact requests: The contact form asks for your name, email address, inquiry topic and message. We use this information to receive and respond to your question and maintain the related correspondence. Please do not include a child’s full name, diagnosis, medical records, school records or other identifying details in a general inquiry.
Email updates: The update form asks for your email address and your choice to receive updates. We use these details to record your request and send the resource updates you requested. You can withdraw that request by contacting us through the Contact page. Withdrawing from updates does not prevent us from responding to a separate question you send us.
Adult learner accounts: If you create or use an account, our account provider, Base44, handles registration and sign-in. Account information includes your email address, account identifier and profile name. Depending on the sign-in method you choose, authentication is handled through email and password, a verification code or Google sign-in. We use account information to identify your learner account, support sign-in and control access to learning materials.
Learning activity: When you use available course features, the learning system can store module progress, acknowledgments, quiz drafts, answers, attempts, results and completion information linked to your adult learner account. We use those records to provide course access, save progress, grade learning activities and administer course completion. Course assignments should not contain identifiable records about a child.
Readiness questionnaire: If you choose to submit the questionnaire, we collect your adult name and email address, your responses to 13 required child-observation questions and three optional caregiver questions, and your confirmation that you are an adult authorized to provide those observations and agree to the stated processing. The questions concern a child’s body awareness, communication, learning and routines, sensory and emotional regulation, and caregiver readiness. They do not request a child’s name, age, diagnosis, medical records or school records. However, the observations can still reveal sensitive information about a child when linked to your contact details. Please provide only observations you are authorized to share.
We store your submission in Base44 with a submission identifier, the applicable consent version, consent timestamp and delivery status. Stored submissions are restricted to administrator access. After the save succeeds, your browser asks FormSubmit to forward the submission to Sabrina Verost’s business Gmail inbox so she can review the observations and respond about educational support. The on-screen status distinguishes a saved submission from the result of the email-delivery request. A saved submission or accepted delivery request does not establish that a message has reached or been read in the inbox.
We use readiness submissions to receive and review the observations you choose to provide and support the educational readiness process. The questionnaire is not a diagnosis or clinical evaluation. Submitting it does not subscribe you to marketing updates. If you do not want these observations stored and sent as described, you can read the questions without submitting the form.
Local tracking tool
The local tracking tool keeps entries in your browser while you use it. If you choose to save entries on the device, the tool uses that browser’s local storage. The tracker does not send its entries to our application server. You can clear its saved entries with the tool’s clear control or your browser’s site-data controls.
Anyone with access to your device or browser may be able to see locally saved entries. Exporting a CSV creates a separate file under your control; clearing the tracker does not delete exported copies. Browser backups or synchronization are governed by your device and browser settings. Avoid entering identifying information about a child, especially on a shared device.
Technical information and browser storage
The website relies on Base44 for application hosting, account services and storage. When your browser connects to the website and its service providers, technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as your IP address and browser request information, is processed by those systems.
The application uses browser storage for sign-in state and, if you enable it, local tracker entries. Our hosting and authentication providers may also use cookies or similar technologies as part of their services. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking or deleting them may sign you out, affect website functions or erase locally saved tracker entries.
Who receives information
Our business receives the inquiries, update requests and readiness submissions you choose to send. The following providers support the website’s functions:
• Base44 provides the website application, authentication and storage for account and learning records. Its processing of application-user information is described in its Data Processing Addendum at https://base44.com/dpa. Its privacy information is available at https://base44.com/privacy-policy. • FormSubmit processes contact and update forms and forwards their contents to our business email inbox. Readiness submissions also use this route after being saved in Base44. Form submissions therefore pass through FormSubmit and the email systems used to deliver and store them, including Gmail. FormSubmit’s policy is available at https://formsubmit.co/privacy.pdf. • If you choose Google sign-in, Google processes the sign-in interaction under its own privacy terms. Google’s privacy information, including information about Gmail, is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Information may also need to be disclosed when required by law or to respond to a valid legal request. Before using a new purpose or sharing arrangement that requires your consent, we will seek that consent.
External retailers and links
The website links to Teachers Pay Teachers, book retailers including Amazon and Barnes & Noble, social media and partner websites. Opening those links takes you to a separate service. Information you provide there, including purchase and payment information, is handled under that service’s terms and privacy notice. Online checkout on this website is currently closed; do not send payment-card information through a contact form.
Children’s information
The educational subject of this website involves children, but its intended users are adults. An adult’s observations about a child can still be sensitive even if the child’s name is not included. Please provide only the information necessary for the feature you are using and only information you are authorized to share. Do not let a child register or submit forms.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly through this website, or you have concerns about information concerning your child, contact us so we can review the situation and address the request.
Retention and security
How long information is needed depends on its purpose, including responding to an inquiry, maintaining an adult learner’s account and progress, recording communication choices, and meeting applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. You may ask us to review or delete information we hold about you. Deletion may be subject to records that must be retained by law or for an unresolved matter, and provider backup copies may be removed on a different schedule.
No internet service or email system can guarantee complete security. General forms and email should not be used to send confidential child records. Protect your account credentials, device and exported files, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to submit a form, request that resource updates stop, manage browser storage, and clear local tracker data. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have additional privacy rights.
We may need to verify your identity before providing or changing account information. Please begin with your contact email and a description of the request; do not send identity documents, passwords or child records in the initial message. If a request concerns locally stored tracker entries, you must manage those entries on the device where they were saved.
Contact and changes
For a privacy question or request, contact Practical Toilet Training, LLC through https://practicaltoilettraining.com/contact and identify the message as a privacy request.
We will update this notice when our website practices change and revise the date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide it before applying that change.
